Madhukra

Description This collection of contains selected Dogri poems written in Devnagri script composed by three prominent Dogri poets. These poems cover a vast variety of socio-political, cultural and regional subjects. Written in typical Dogri dialect, these poems have the music and melody of hills, the strain of joys and sorrows of hill people and folk times. Despite the reader's unfamiliarity with the Dogri dialect, these are easily readable and comprehensible. These poems provide a panoramic view of the hilly region and a glimpse into the beliefs and festivities of Dogra people[edit]
