Title: A personage from the royal house of Alwar.
Desciption: It is the photograph of a young prince from the Royal house of Alwar, one of the princely states during colonial rule of the British in India. The prince is reclining against the back of a sofa. His robes consist of light embroidered undercoat and equally embroidered flowing robe over it.With a sword in hand and proud look on the face, he looks every inch a powerful prince. Jewelry worn round the neck and head has a floral design. The face reflects little bit of a royal pride and arrogance.[edit]
