Title: A young Indian Prince in the royal regalia .
Desciption: The photograph shows an adolescent Indian prince dressed in full royal regalia belonging to the royal house of Baroda during the colonial times in India. The imagery of dress consisting of heavily embroidered coat, the heavy golden necklace with petal shaped leaves, the medallion with a royal emblem, sword in hand, the emblem of power gives the impression of a royal prince. The style of the turban is also unique. However, the face and the body language of adolescent prince are not as impressive as the royal paraphernalia on his person. The sitting posture as well as the looks also gives an impression of a subdued person.[edit]
