Sri Amritsar Ji De Darshan Ishnaan

Description Sri Darbar Sahib at Amritsar, the sacred shrine of the Sikhs has a very rich history. Despite its universal spiritual appeal and uniqueness, it has been a prey to the acts of vandalism, desecration by the foreign invaders as well as the Indian state. This descriptive directory gives a chronological account of the history of this Sikh shrine from its beginning to the end of twentieth century. The account is factual, to the point and covers all the prominent stages of its five hundred years of history. It is a ready reckoner for the daily visitors as well as inquisitive readers of its history[edit]
