A Brief Life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Description The book gives a brief account of Guru Nanak's life and his teachings from his birth till his last days at Kartarpur. The major incidents taken from Guru Nanak's life are His childhood, Youth, Rai Bullar and his recognition of divinity in Nanak, Guru Sahib's encounter with a jeweller, Bhai Lalo at Emnabad, Tantric Koda Raksh, Sajjan Thug, Vali Kandhari, his dealings as a treasurer, his travels to Hardwar, Multan, Kurukshetra and Jagannath Puri, Kashmir and Assam, Island of Sangaldip and finally to Kartarpur. Besides Guru Nanak's meetings with Sikandar Lodhi and Babar. The author describes his discussions with a Muslim Pir Kamal and a Brahmin Brahamdas in Kashmir. Book ends with Guru Nanak passing his Gurship to Bhai Lehna. Every incident and encounter reveals some essential postulate of Guru Nanak's philosophy.[edit]
