This is an Englishman's guidance manual for those foreign travellers and government officials who planned to visit India around the end of 19th century during the British Colonial rule in India. It gives a description of the prominent places of interest in the then province of Punjab between the cities from Peshawar to Delhi and cities like Karachi in Sindh. He gives information about prominent occupations, manufactures, locations of Railway stations, hill stations and military cantonments and transport modes.[edit]
