Why India is in Revolt Againt British Rule

Description This treatise gives expression to the bitterness and hatred of the people of India towards the oppressive and exploitative British rule soon after the end of First World War. The Indians fall cheated and betrayed by the ruling British for having gone back from their solemn promise to grant independence to India after the British victory in the First World War. Thousands of patriotic Indians had sacrificed their lives for the victory of their British rulers with the fond hope of getting freedom from the foreign rule. It is the British betrayal and perfidy which has made the peace loving Indians bitter and revengeful against the British. The whole treatise written in a contemptuous stance records several acts of betrayal and exploitation on the part of the British. It captures the general mood and temper of the Indian masses in the 1920s[edit]
