This volume contains proceedings of Punjab partition committee meetings held in July 1947, prior to division of India and Punjab in August 1947. These minutes contains guidelines and decisions regarding division and allocation of all India services and provincial services personnel, Punjab University, irrigation projects & systems, duplication and transfer of state records, assets and liabilities, cooperative depts, law courts, judges, jurisdiction of law courts, choice of stately officials, allocation and allotment of agricultural land to the migrant peasants, and other issues related to partition of Punjab.
