Fatehgarh Sahib History (The Light House For The Forlorn)

Description The Sikhs remember the four Sahibzadas in their daily prayer for their supreme sacrifice in defence of their faith. They are counted among the foremost Sikh martyrs. The present book records the supreme sacrifice of the two younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh named Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh at Sirhind and the construction of two sacred shrines at Sirhind named as Fatehgarh Sabha in their memory. It traces the whole history of these two shrines from the beginning to the modern times and the voluntary service (kar sewa) rendered by the people. The book is a tribute to the glorious sacrifice of two infant Sikh martyrs.[edit]
