Singh Sabha Da Moddi

Description The book records the monumental contribution made by Giani Dit Singh during the last years of 19th century and early years of 20th century. Being a learned scholar of Sikh philosophy, an aggressive social reformer, a fluent and intelligent interlocutor and debater, he was also one of the founders of Singh Sabha and Gurdwara Reforms Movement. Through his writings and speeches, he campaigned against all social evils like caste system, idol worship and anti-Sikh forces. Belonging to a scheduled caste, he had to face the stigma of being an untouchable. But he carried on his crusade steadfastly.[edit]
