Prominent political events include Lahore Conspiracy case and the Gohmuri strike. Official announcements include Viceroy's Historic announcement of October 31, 1929 and Simon Commission reports. Besides recording a large number of Bills and Acts passed by many legislative Assemblies, the journal records several political resolutions adopted by All India Congress Committee.
