The travelogue (1952-53) describes Afghanistan in its various aspects written in two parts. The first part deals with the geographical features / location, people, type of government, language, educational system, Museums and libraries, Hindu, Sikh shrines, and handwritten manuscripts of Guru Granth Sahib in Afghanistan. The second part deals with the day-to-day account author's journey and places of his visit. Presently a historical perspective about Afghanistan, the writer wishes to inspire his readers to write travelogues. |
